To compete at the Certius Short Format National Championships 2026 you must have successfully completed two x 3 phase events in the 12 months prior to the competition.
Alternatively entry to The Festival will also constitute eligibility
You may choose whichever class is most appropriate to you, that may be Senior Driver (65ish) or Traditional Cob. If you drive in Intermediate or Open Classes you may not enter Novice. Intro is for anyone very new to the sport, a more relaxed class aimed at encouraging newcomers. Juniors are aged 8 to 14 years in the year of the Championships. We are happy to discuss your options.
An event that will make you eligible to compete at Certius is any Three Phase Event that has a Dressage or P&P test, a Cones round and an Obstacle competition or marathon. Indoor events, Short Format, Gateway, Inside Outs, Minis, ODE's, Club classes are all ideal.
